This is a wonderful example of a beautiful, highly engraved custom luger pistol as manufactured by the Mauser factory. The engraving is a mix of a scroll pattern intermixed with some geometric designs in various areas and around the edges and flats of the pistol. The engraving itself covers 95% of the pistol to include the grip straps, the complete barrel, flats and even the side of the barrel extension around the toggle pin. This Luger does not have any factory makings (aside from the serial numbers), as they were engraved over, however there is a Mauser factory proof mark on the inside of the pistol and the magazine is a blued WWII version with a matching numbered aluminum base with a partial Eagle/63 proof mark which may indicate it started out a WWII Mauser Luger. It is fitted with standard fixed front and rear sights with the standard GESICHERT and GELADEN, safety and loaded markings. As noted it is numbered in the military manner with the full serial number on the frame, barrel and barrel extension with the last two digits on the various parts with the left grip numbered 90 and the right grip unnumbered. As noted the magazine is marked "5150/d/+/(partial) Eagle/63". It is has an all blued finish with straw colored smaller parts.

Very fine as custom engraved and embellished with 99% of the blue finish overall. The various smaller parts retain most of their restrawed parts. The replacement grips are in near mint condition with nice sharp, distinct checkering on both sides with no visible handling marks. A very nice looking all custom engraved Luger pistol.
