Description:

The Colt Single Action Army was one of the most popular handguns in late 19th century and is easily the most iconic and most thoroughly associated with the American West. This example was manufactured in 1884, and it certainly has the classic look of an authentic cowboy gun adorned with status symbol grips. A true piece of Americana that without a doubt has a story to tell! The barrel has the one-line Hartford address, the frame has the three-line patent dates marking on the left side, and the trigger guard is marked "45 CAL." Matching serial numbers are on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap.

Rating Definition:

Very good proudly exhibiting the pleasing smooth brown-gray patina of a well used Peacemaker, displaying the ruggedness and character of the frontier. The very fine grip has typical age lines and attractive grain and color. Mechanically fine. This is your opportunity to have a piece of the unrelenting, wild landscape of the western frontier.
