Manufactured in the last quarter of the 18th century with a smoothbore barrel, flat lock marked with the Georgian cipher at center and "DUBLIN/CASTLE" at the rear, ramrod pipe and entry pipe, rounded trigger guard and side plate, short ear pommel cap, and raised plateau around the barrel tang.
Good with dark brown patina overall, mild oxidation/pitting, some replacement parts on the lock to include the hammer, aged patina on the brass furniture, and mild overall wear. The refinished stock is good and has some chips and repairs mainly around the lock, general minor scratches and dings, and mild overall wear. Mechanically fine.
