Manufactured from 1870-1890 with factory engraved flourishes of floral scroll on both sides of the frame. There are British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and matching serial numbers on the bottom of the barrel and butt. It is fitted with checkered grips that are both hand numbered to the gun on the inside. Includes an oak case with Colt London Agency interior label, a cleaning rod, and key.

Good, retains traces of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of light surface pitting. The grips are fine with some scattered light handling marks, reapplied varnish, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout.
