Beretta/Knight's Armament Slide Lock Model 92F Silenced Pistol
Manufactured in America by Beretta U.S.A., this Beretta Model 92F Pistol has been modified to work in conjunction with the Knight's Armament "Snap-On" silencer (described in B). Originating in the 1970s, the base design was destined for the U.S. military, with an emphasis on special forces operations. The intention was to make a weapon that would be as close as possible to absolutely silent, while still able to work as a close-in defensive weapon if stealth failed. Chief among the intended targets for the pistol was enemy sentries and guard dogs, the latter of which led to the nickname given to the weapon: the "Hush Puppy". Starting with a typical Model 92F, an unrifled extension has been installed on the barrel, which is compatible with the silencer's spring-loaded mounting gear. The slide is notched twice on the underside, and mounted to the frame is a one-piece steel yoke. This yoke, which is hinged at the front of the frame and bears against a specially extended takedown mechanism, controls the motion of the slide; when down, the pistol cycles as normal, but flipping it up firmly locks the breech closed. When engaged the mechanical noise is limited to the hammer and trigger, and the discharge gases are left with nowhere to go but forward into the silencer. In essence, the pistol operates as a spring-assisted straight pull repeater in this firing mode, and the operator can either wait before reloading (in case the sound of cycling might be an issue), or quickly disengage the yoke, rack the slide, and reengage for a reasonably quick follow-up shot. A matching partial serial number is scribed into the underside of the barrel locking block, with a full matching number on the yoke; otherwise, markings are standard. Among the included accessories are 10 extra magazines, a case for the included silencer, and a number of spare silencer parts, including nine boxed Knight's "encapsulator" wipe assemblies.

U.S. Army Issued SIG Sauer M17 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Box
In January 2017 it was announced that SIG Sauer had won the highly competitive U.S. Military Modular Handgun System (MHS) contract to replace the Beretta M9 as the standard U.S. military sidearm, and later that year the U.S. Army announced the 101st and 82nd Airborne divisions were to be the first units to receive the M17. Offered here is one of the first pistols issued to the101st Airborne Division for field testing. Only 3,000 of these pistols were returned to SIG Sauer for sale on the commercial market. The introduction of the M17 marked the beginning of the end to the M9’s service with the U.S. Armed Forces that originated in the late 1980s when it replaced the Colt M1911A1. If the service life of the M1911A1 and M9 are any indication to the longevity of the standard U.S. military handgun, it will be decades before we see a round of rigorous testing to replace the M17, making this early U.S. Army example issued to the famed 101st Airborne Division a historic piece of military hardware of the modern era that will only gain more collector interest in the future. The M17 is a variant of the SIG 320 modular pistol and integrates an ambidextrous thumb safety to the modular fire control unit, with illuminated night sights, optics mounting point on the slide, "+P" weight recoil spring, and coyote tan metal and polymer finish. The grip unit is marked size "M". The shipping box is a numbered match to the pistol and identifies it as "UDM17-9-SURPLUS" and contains two extra magazines, a standard weight recoil spring, cable lock, and papers. Per the included certificate, this pistol was part of the initial deployment of the U.S. M17 MHS Pistol in American service. An included Freedom of Information Act letter states this pistol was shipped from SIG Sauer to the Army General Supply and from there to Fort Campbell where it was issued to D Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Formed in 1918, the 101st Airborne Division has established a long and historic legacy that has made it one of the U.S. Army’s premier units. Its “Screaming Eagle” insignia is instantly recognizable by friend and foe alike. The 101st is renowned for its WWII airborne operations role leading up to the Allied assault at the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944, and during Operation Market Garden and action taken during the Battle of the Bulge. During the Vietnam War the 101st participated in 12 campaigns and fought in major battles such as the Battle of Hamburger Hill and the Battle of Fire Support Base Ripcord, the last major confrontation between U.S. ground forces and the PAVN. Over the last 20 years, the 101st was actively involved in American operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Headquartered at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the 101st remains one of the U.S. Army’s leading land combat forces.

U.S. Marine Corps Kimber DET-1 1911 Pistol
Manufactured in the early 2000s, this pistol was one of a small number manufactured by Kimber on contract for the U.S. government which were intended to be issued to the newly formed Marine Corps special operations unit called Detachment One. Detachment One was a pilot program started in 2003 as a program for attaching a permanent Marine Corps unit to the United States Special Operations Command. The unit was only around until 2006 when it was succeeded by United States Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Initially, 200 of these pistols were manufactured under contract and issued to the unit for testing. During the testing phase, the pistols didn't perform as well as they needed, leading to the initial 200 pistols being destroyed. Prior to the performance issues in testing, another 150 pistols had been ordered but not issued. After the issues in testing, these 150 pistols were offered for sale to people who had been involved with the unit. It is only these 150 pistols that are still available on the collectors market, making them a U.S. 1911 that is more rare than the ever-desirable Singer. Similar examples can be seen and discussed on pages 146 and 147 in the book "U.S. Military Automatic Pistols 1945-2012", by Scott Meadows. The pistol has the standard Kimber marking on the left of the slide and the standard address on the right of the frame. The right of the frame is also marked with the special serial number "DET1-331" as well as "U.S. MILITARY PROPERTY USMC", with the addition of an ambidextrous thumb safety. The original hanging tag is still zip-tied to the trigger guard. Includes the original case with U.S.M.C. label and label numbered to the gun. Also included with the pistol is a letter from Ken E. Hackathorn, who is a U.S. Army Special Forces small arms instructor, Gunsite instructor, NRA police firearms instructor, and an FBI certified firearms instructor, stating that he purchased this pistol along with one consecutively serialized (DET1-330) through his friend Larry Vickers, who was involved in the training of Detachment One in 2003. The letter states that the two pistols, including this one, remained new and unfired with their hanging tags still attached.

Modern Krieghoff Luger
Manufactured around 2006-2007, this pistol is one of a 200 piece run replicating the Krieghoff Luger of World War II. Chiefly a producer of sporting arms, Krieghoff had been tapped by the Luftwaffe to produce their sidearms, with the output ranking among the best military-issue Lugers in terms of fit and finish. While not intending to become a commercial pistol maker, Krieghoff is known to have released a number of surplus or rejected frames to the general market, often featuring a 5-pointed star on the right side of the extension, which was included on these pistols along with the contemporary "eagle/N" commercial proof on the appropriate parts. Fixed sights, with a blank chamber, the distinctive "H(anchor)K/KRIEGHOFF/SUHL" mark on the front toggle link, straw and niter blue finished small parts, and a set of checkered plastic grips with smooth borders. Both of the included magazines have bright polished bodies and matching numbers on the alloy bases, and the takedown tool bears a small Krieghoff proof. The case that holds this set is fairly unique in design, being made from two blocks of machined aluminum precision-cut to hold the pistol and accessories, with a matching number and Krieghoff logo engraved into the top, mechanical and magnetic closure mechanisms, robust hinges and a cloth outer sleeve/transport case. Also include with the item is an English language manual, advertising material and a certificate of authenticity.

Walther P 88 Champion Model Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured in Germany. The Champion model is a competition oriented version of Walther's P88 line. A limited number of these pistols were manufactured circa 1990s, and the pistol was not actively imported into the United States. Their limited production run and limited American sales makes the P88 Champion an extremely difficult Walther pistol to find in the U.S. It features a three dot sighting system consisting of fixed blade front and notch rear sights. The slide is marked "P88- Champion" on the left and with the Walther address and serial number on the right. As a competition pistol, this model is single action only and has had the hammer drop omitted from the safety. The front of the frame has several grub screws installed, presumably from a light or weight system which was previously installed. The pistol is fitted with a set of stippled wood grips. U.S. Rock Island Arsenal M15 General Officers Pistol
This is an exceptionally fine example of a U.S. Army issue M15 General Officer pistol. The M15 pistols were manufactured solely by Rock Island Arsenal starting in the early 1970s through approximately 1985 when the US Army adopted the Beretta M9 pistol. This specific pistol is listed on p. 148 of "The Colt General Officers' Pistol" by Greeley as being issued in 1973. The same page also notes that two M15 pistols were manufactured with this serial number, one of which resides in the Rock Island Arsenal Museum. These pistols were fabricated by using a standard M1911A1 pistol, milling off old markings and then applying the new markings and shortening the slide and barrel assembly to 4 1/2 inches, installing a high profile front and rear sight, serrated mainspring housing, and the National Match style checkered front grip strap. The left side of the slide is marked with "General Officer Model/RIA", and "Serial No. GO 178" is on the right side of the frame above the grips. The grips are checkered walnut, and the right side has a cast Rock Island Arsenal ordnance emblem, while the left grip panel is inlaid with a blank silver name plate. The pistol has a highly polished blue finish on most the parts, the barrel is chrome plated, and it is furnished with a full blue magazine hand marked "178" twice on the right side. Includes an extra magazine also hand numbered "178", a general officer's belt with brass U.S. seal buckle, Buckheimer "DEPUTY" holster, U.S. "1962" dated dual magazine pouch, and an additional "US" marked shoulder type holster, all of which are black leather.

Special Order Army Reserve Pistol Team Beretta M9 Pistol
Officially adopted by the U.S. armed forces in 1990, the M9 competed and beat multiple contenders including H&K, Star, Walther, Steyr, FN, and SIG to replace the venerable M1911A1 semi-automatic pistol as the official U.S. military sidearm. This was the first real change in U.S. military sidearms in decades. This original U.S. government contract Beretta M9 semi-automatic pistol features standard markings and features. Included with the pistol is a letter describing a run of 217 M9 pistols built for the U.S. Army Reserve Pistol Team; this pistol is not mentioned by number, but matches the described features. These pistols were created as a special run to allow the pistol team to practice with civilian serialized pistols which wouldn't have to be signed out. The pistols not bought by the shooting team were sold through normal means of trade, after which the Army's lawyers made sure that they would be the only run of civilian M9 pistols with full government markings. Also included with the gun is a Beretta hard case.

U.S. Army Issued SIG Sauer M17 Pistol
United States Army version of the SIG Sauer M17 Pistol to replace the Beretta M9 as the standard U.S. Military sidearm into the future. In January 2017 it was announced that SIG had won the highly competitive U.S. Military contract and by November of that year the first M17's were being delivered, with the first units issued them being the 101st and 82nd Airborne divisions. This pistol is one of the first pistols issued to these units for field testing and combat use. Includes a certificate from SIG stating that this pistol was fielded by the U.S. Army for the initial in-theatre and domestic use. Also included with the pistol is a DoD Freedom of information act request stating this pistol was delivered from SIG Sauer to Defense Logistics Agency Distribution in Anniston, Alabama who in turn delivered it to the 320th Field Artillery, 1st Battalion, Bravo Battery at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where it was used for two years before being shipped back to SIG Sauer. It is reported that SIG Sauer released approximately 3,500 of these pistols to authorized dealers which were immediately absorbed into the collector market. The 320th Field Artillery Regiment served with the 82nd Airborne Division during both world wars and from the Cold War to the present elements of the regiment such as the 1st Battalion have served with the 101st Airborne Division. Over the last 20 years the 1st Battalion assigned to the 101st Airborne Division was actively involved in American operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Headquartered at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the 101st remains one of the U.S. Army’s leading land combat forces. Army example a historic piece of military hardware of the modern era that will only gain more collector interest in the future. This M17 remains as-issued by the U.S. Military with original government-issue serial number and markings, integrated ambidextrous thumb safety to the modular fire control unit, SIGLITE night sights, optics mounting point on the slide, "+P" weight recoil spring, and coyote tan controls, metal and polymer finish. The pistol is packed exactly as it was delivered to the U.S. Military in the original shipping box numbered to the pistol complete with one 17 round and two 21 round magazines.

SilencerCo Maxim 9 Pistol/Silencer Combination
Developed around 2016, the Maxim 9 pistol and the Maxim 9S silencer were designed from the very beginning as an integrated system, and it stands as the only such unified system on the market. The heart of the design is a delayed blowback semi-automatic mechanism with the recoil assembly integrated into a bolt carrier/slide, and a variable volume baffle array which doubles as a mounting point for pistol-sized optics devices. The baffles in turn are staged downward relative to the bore in a style reminiscent of the original 1900s vintage Maxim Silencer, providing a high expansion volume without requiring higher profile sights, with a set of three Keymod slots on the underside. The grip assembly is configured to accept Glock pattern magazines, with a textured surface, reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous slide release. The factory box is numbered to match both the pistol frame and the integral silencer base, and contains an extra magazine, tools, a section of Keymod-compatible picatinny rail, and the manual.
